For today I am going to do a review post about a Laneige product that is BB Cushion Whitening SPF 50 PA+++

Well, I got this for free from Laneige themselves from the BFF contest in Instagram. My best friend told me about this contest and I wanted to help her get this BB Cushion that she want for long time already. It turned out that we both won and we got 2 BB cushions each. Yes, I got two, she got two. We both were so lucky.

I never thought about using BB Cushions before, I was never interested with it because I assumed that its the same as Compact powder? Which can make my face looks cakey and looks unblend because I sweat a lot and my face is combination/oily-type.

So, this is like my first BB Cushion which is from Laneige. Yes, the first BB Cushion that I own.

As we know, Laneige is famous in Korea with their BB Cushions. They have few types of cushions which are for whitening, pore-control and for oily skin.

From what I know, these Laneige cushions worth RM150 retail? Thats what I heard from my friend recently who is Laneige user and knows a lot about Laneige products.


The packaging? What I got were different packaging which is simple and not heavy from what in stores. So I assume that this is the trial one or the mini one of the BB Cushions, because this one does not have the mirror in it. Never mind, I got 2 of them anyway and it is better when the BB Cushion is really light to bring everywhere.

The size is perfect to me, not too big and not too small, just the perfect size to be convenient and fits in my bag.

The shade what I got to choose were 21 and 23. Usually code 21 will be for people with fair skin while shade 23 more towards darker skin, so I chose shade 21 which is Beige.



Inside of the BB Cushions;

Like all other BB Cushions, they have two layers inside. First part is the unique application sponge and in the second layer is the BB Cushions.

The shades look darker but when I swatch on my hand, it looks lighter than it seems.

When applied on face, it have cool feels on it. I am not sure whether it comes from the sponge or from the BB, but I really like the feel. It feels cool and smooth. The BB also is not oily and does a lot of work on covering. Whitening? Yes, works miracle. It also stays on my face nicely without being cakey and I feel like I am not wearing anything because the light-weight textures.

This have light-medium coverage and good for natural makeup which is normal function for BB Cream. The SPF? Already satisfying because it is SPF 50+++.

As a conclusion, Laneige indeed having the best BB Cushions <3 It did not disappoint me at all for now.

I only use this to touch up my make up when outside. I rarely touch up my face, usually I will focus only on lipstick.
Now, it is my habit to bring this BB Cushion anywhere I go instead of BB Creams and beauty blender which consume a lot of space in my bag.
