[MAKEUP VLOG] PINK-LOOK MAKEUP

I have been asked how to do my makeup tutorial a lot by my friends. So i decided to upload this video for them. Truthfully, this is not a makeup tutorial but the idea are there in the video. My mistake was that i used time lapse on iPhone to save memory and to avoid memory problems. And i recorded two parts. The first one had no problem but the second one is a bit fast. Those two time-lapse video i just converted them into slow motion were saved into one video.
I did pink-look for natural and glowy look because i was actually ready to go to iftar outside that time so i cannot do intense look of it like a model.
Basically, for pink makeup look, ofcourse! all you need is pink eyeshadow! The pink eyeshadow must be the intense or dark one, not the soft pink one. Because when you blended the eyeshadows, the soft pink one may be disappeared and lost its color.
Next, yeah you need pink blusher! I wore the berry color blusher because the color will more appear on my face after i blended them to make my pink-look more appeal.
For glowy look, yasss gurl you need highlighter. Must be the one with no color like white, cream, nude one that only give glowing to your cheekbones and nose. For this look i dont use contour and bronze, these two will take away that pink-look.
Hence, pink-look is more to glowy so i chose to wear foundation with dewy-finish instead of matte-finish foundation.
My video :

Here the basic of a good makeup :
First, wear primer. Imagine our face as a wall and you want to paint on it, ofcourse you need a smooth surface so you have to coat it before paint it with the color that you want. Good primer that suitable to your face leads to long-lasting makeup.
Second, conceal all your imperfections such as dark circles, redness or pigmentation. Thats why i used correctors. Red salmon is for dark circles while the green one is for redness or pimples.
Third, start with eye makeup if you can. Starting with eyebrows then eye shadows, eye lashes and eyeliner.
Fourth, please, do a clean makeup by using brushes and beauty blender/ makeup sponges. Your makeup will be more effective if you are using them instead using your hands.
Fifth, use foundation that suitable to your face undertones. But nahh, i have all the three undertones because i can create a lot of look. This is according a person’s suitability. I am a person with neutral undertones so i can use pink tones, neutral tones and yellow tones.
Sixth, gosh i miss this thing. KNOW YOUR SKIN TYPE! Oily skin? Dry skin? Combination skin? Sensitive skin? or you are lucky enough to have normal skin? Do not just wear or use things because people are using them. Some products only suitable for specific skin type. Buy products according to your skin type, not only for makeup, but also for skincare! Do researches and read reviews on makeupalley or any blogs.
I think i can give only these as my tips because i do not want to make people who newbie to makeup become panic when reading these thinking they should do all these things at the same time.
To master in makeup, you have to slowly learn it. Yes, you can skip primer for the start, its a no problem. Yes, you can skip skin corrector if you want and if you do not have any skin problems to conceal or if your foundation/bb creams have good coverage to cover them.
BUT, i really encourage to use brushes and sponges for makeup for hygiene purpose :)
Thats all from me. Wow there are actually a lot i want to say in this post but have to control it and also i am really having fun writing this.

Thank you for reading!
Love,
